Your Voice Matters
The Spearfish Community Coalition is a VOLUNTEER organization that needs your help to be successful in reducing youth substance abuse, specifically alcohol and tobacco use! Making positive, healthy changes in this community takes the collaboration and partnership of many people from all sectors of the community. We cannot do it alone!
The Drug Free Communities grant identifies 12 community sectors that are required to participate in a Coalition that is funded under the DFC support program. These sectors include representation from those listed below as community partners.
Youth - Youth Empowerment Team & TATU
Parents - Various Members
Business - Chamber of Commerce
Media - Black Hills Pioneer
Law Enforcement - Verla Little & Pat Rotert
Religious/Fraternal Organizations -
Civic or Volunteer Organizations - Zonta
Healthcare - Community Health Nurse
Other Organization involved in Substance Abuse Prevention - Western Prevention Resource Center (Vonnie Ackerman)
Coalition In-Kind Form:
You have recently volunteered with or donated to the Coalition. Now what? Your time, efforts and resources help us accomplish our required amount of in-kind donations. All you need to do is fill out a short form and send it to Melissa. Click on this link to open the in-kind form!
