Helping to Keep Youth Safe
Thanks for visiting the Spearfish Community Coalition website. This organization is comprised of a group of community representatives for many areas – business owners, public service providers, educators, parents and more – all committed to keeping our youth safe and free from substance use. Whether it be tobacco/nicotine, alcohol, marijuana, opioids or other drugs, the coalition brings folks together to promote prevention and positive perceptions.
Drug-Free Communities and other grant funding enables the coalition to work on creating partnerships and influencing policy while building capacity on the community level. The ultimate goal is to provide a safe, healthy community for our children to grow, learn and lead in the future.
